Early Years

The early years of a child’s life are a crucial time for learning and development. During this period, children learn the basics of language, numbers, counting, colours, shapes, and other important skills. They also learn how to interact with others, develop social skills, and gain an understanding of the world around them.

At this stage, children learn through play and exploration. They learn alphabets, languages, numbers, counting, colours, shapes, indoor and outdoor play, puzzles and logical thinking, problem-solving, drawing, painting, and other visual art, craft, theatre and puppetry, music, and movement. It also emphasises the development of social skills, such as sensitivity, good behaviour, civility, ethics, personal and public hygiene, teamwork, and cooperation.
